What is Coaching? Coaching provides an on-going partnership designed to help clients produce results in their personal and professional lives. Through coaching you will set realistic goals, take more action, make better decisions, and connect to natural strengths while focusing on solutions rather than problems. Many of us know what we want to do or accomplish but get distracted by daily demands or just don’t have the mental or physical energy to take our goals to completion. The truth is if we could have done it on our own, we would have.

Through the coaching process, the client chooses the focus of conversation, while the coach listens and contributes observations, questions and concepts, while generating possibilities and action plans.
Some people ask, ”why can’t a friend or family member coach me?” They can but only to a certain degree. Friends and family lack the objectivity that a coach can provide. Your growth can be threatening to someone whose relationship depends on you staying basically the way you are. Your coach’s goal is to support the achievement of your new choices.
